Another Buds Question

Recently ordered a popular Browning shotgun that showed as more than 10 in stock from Buds inventory, tracking while in transit showed it as having shipped from of all places East St Louis, IL.. I scratched my head for a couple of days on that until it arrived at the FFL on this end and showed as transferring from Zanders on behalf of Buds. Having never been anywhere near Lexington, I've previously had the impression Buds is a Mega Store with adjoining giant warehouse. Is this drop shipping of firearms a common practice when dealing with Buds online? Is Zanders owned by the same interests as Buds?

I believe Zander’s is a firearms distributor and a sporting goods store.
I have a few brownings that came from Zander’s myself a grade III abolt and a over under.

I know that my browning model 52 heavy barrel was a Zander’s exclusive item and I do believe that browning exclusives are distributer level items. Now browning gold dealer items are distributer and heavy volume dealer level items.
