This is a great lower stock for a 1917 I bought a few years back to "unsporterize" a rifle I had. I have since sold the rifle before the refit. It has some marks that can be seen in the pics. The butt plate and rear swivel do not come with it, just the wood. It is in unmolested condition, it had been fitted to an action at one time so your 1917 will drop right in. Were else to get this nice a 100 year old stock? Someone who needs it can have it for what I bought it for, $100. I am in southern Indiana.

The contract specified "straight grain wallnut", this one clearly qualifies. All I did before taking pics was wipe the dust off, what you see is what it is.
