Replaces Remington factory bottom metal to detachable mags and works for 308, 243, 7mm-08, and 6.5CM. No inletting necessary for factory stocks, Bell & Carlson (is what I had it in) or any other stock that uses a factory bottom metal. Works perfectly...just switch over to a Magpul stock, which uses their own bottom metal. Last picture shows what it looks like installed in a B&C stock with 5 round mag.
