Join us at Hoosier Hills Rifle and Pistol Club in beautiful Brown County for an event that combines basic rifle and pistol classes in one weekend. Samuel Whittemore used his musket and pistols to great effect against the British Regulars as they marched back to Boston after an unsuccessful powder raid in Concord, Massachusetts. We honor his brave actions as we teach the foundational skills to proficient use of rifle and pistol.
Saturday will be dedicated to pistol work as we cover stances, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger press and more. You will also have the opportunity to shoot the Revere's Riders Classic Pistol Qualifier.
Sunday will be devoted to the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. Topics include Natural Point of Aim (NPOA), shooting from prone, seated and standing positions and self-diagnosing errors among others. A Revere's Riders Rifle Qualifier will be also be run.
