I bought a 300 Weatherby a few years ago and have it very close to being sighted it in. I was shooting a 150gr round and I am thinking that I should move up to a 180gr round. I understand that my zero will need to be slightly higher but would the different weight effect my zero left to right?

I am currently shooting Hornady 150gr interbond and thinking of going to 180gr interlock.

I did consider going to 165 gr GMX but thought that with all the power of the 300Weatherby, a heavier bullet would actually give me better accuracy.

You are sighting it in at 300 yards, right? That should be close to the MPBR for the cartridge, I think.

I look forward to your range reports as you discover the answers to your questions with your rifle and ammo.
