I still have to go a long way before I wear out both 012s that I use (especially at the rate I shoot USPSA, Steel, and AP matches the last couple of years). But, if I did, the 014 is what I'd look at to replace the 012.
It looks like the 014 adds a thumb lock in addition to the tension knob. The muzzle platform is also much different than the shroud on the 013/012/011. Looks somewhat like aftermarket platforms that eventually replace them (although I never had a need for that).
