I'm on the fence with this one. I might make it, might not. Got another IDPA major coming up on the 23rd that I'm debating about- guess I need to make my mind up soon. There was another revolver guy at Owensboro last time- didn't know about him until the scores came out, but he might be back.

I'm thinking we are getting to the last of the not miserably hot shoots for a while?
At least that is my rational for not missing Saturday, might have to think of a new rational for July.

I hear ya. Good thing about Owensboro is that you can usually secure some shade; unlike Redbrush which becomes the valley of death in the summer:laugh:

Don't know how it was on the range, but where I was it was HOT today.

How did the match go for everyone?

Great, in my opinion. Fun courses of fire, well organized, and all that stuff.

My cell phone (verizon) gps does not like that area of the country so I got lost for almost too long but did make it.

It was hot but not Redbrush hot.

You had to open up a toilet seat hung vertically like a window to shoot a couple targets. Apparently the last guy in the group before us had a bloody hand. The look on our S.O.'s face when he saw the bloody toilet seat was worth the trip in itself.

Yeah it was HOT on the range yesterday but that is going to be the norm for a few months. Fun stages and I believe around 55-56 shooters which isn't to bad with the Area 5 going on this weekend.
4 or 5 new shooters also. The two on our squad did a good job with their safety.
    2 revolver shooters.(missed you TJ)
