Greetings. We have a few matches and events scheduled for the remainder of the year at the Southern Indiana Rifle & Pistol Club All are welcome to attend. There is a list of our Outdoor Scheduled Events on our site. There are lots of events for almost everyone. We have a Hunting Rifle match scheduled for Saturday October 12. It will have separate matches for Indiana and Kentucky shooters. Shoot both matches. Bring what you got and shoot it. Any firearm that is legal for big game hunting in your respective state is eligible to compete. No one will be turned away. We will have African big game animal color targets at different distances for 4 stages and steel gongs at 5 distances for the 5th stage. 5 rounds in 2 minutes at each stage. 25 rounds total for score. There is an OFFHAND stage, a SITTING stage, a PRONE stage, and a shooter's choice of position stage. Sighting period before the match starts.
We also have a 500 yard practice day scheduled for Saturday October 5 and Saturday December 7. Again, membership is not required to participate in these events.
We also have a CMP Garand/NRA High Power Rifle/F Class clinic scheduled for October 26 and 27. Cost is cheap and entertainment factor is HIGH!
