Similar to FNS, except you work from a holster. All starts are from the surrender position and you make 5 runs per stage and throw out the lowest time.

5 Stages, 5 shots per string, 5 strings = 125 rounds if you don't miss. Bring 200 to be safe.

Also, if you're uncomfortable running the stages from your holster, there is a category called GSSF (inspired by the Glock guys) where you start each course of fire from the low ready position, instead of in the leather/kydex.

And, with .22 pistols you start low-gun (not from the holster).

Great Steel Challenge match today - had some "classic" steel challenge stages as well as a couple from Eric's imagination.

One of those stages involved some serious movement - four big plates on the move, and then the 8 inch stop plate from the last box.
