the range I shoot at *might* allow it. I dont ever recall seeing anything against it, but I would have to check.
I've shot a .50bmg there. He has no rules against it, as long as you're safe with it and put the rounds into the backstop.ProTec. I believe its in Clay County. East of Terre Haute, and West of Brazil. Its a small range, but does have a 300 yard "lane".

When there were events, they were always posted weeks in advance. With that said, I wouldn't expect to have this problem in the future.My only beef with the ProTec range is that if there is an event planned, you don't get to shoot. Plus it gets crowded really fast. Other than that, not a bad place.
