Sugar Ridge Closed Mar 27-31 2017

Went to the Sugar Ridge gun range in Pike county today and they had signs up saying the range will be closed March 27-31 due to work on the range. I do not know the nature of the work just giving a heads up to any that might travel to use the range.

Update from Indiana DNR Law District 7 FB page
New hours and construction planned for the shooting range at Sugar Ridge Fish and Wildlife Area.
Construction is planned for the last week of March and the range will be closed from March 27th - March 31st 2017. New hours will be as follows:
Beginning April 1, 2017
... OPEN – Tuesday – Sunday (CLOSED Monday)
April – August: 9 A.M. – 6 P.M. (EST)
September – March: 8 A.M – 5 P.M. (EST)



According to a FB post, the construction is a fence around the range and backstop repair.
No idea on why it is closed Mondays or the shorter hours.
