IN58 closed from the North, 135 closed from the South

Travel Advisory!!! If you are coming from the south, 135 is closed between 300N and 400N for a bridge replacement. This is just south of South Central Gun Club on 135. I just checked with Bartholomew County Highway Dept. and IN58 is closed between I65 and Freetown as well. Everyone will need to go across to Freetown on 258 from Seymour or really test their GPS and backroad navigation!!. Good Luck!!

^^^What he said. Also, is this noob friendly? I shot a steel challenge once. I didn't hit the steel much and pretty much timed out on a lot of the stages, but I am safe in my pistol handling!:)

Steel is an excellent match for newbies. No movement, reloading while moving, and limited strategy. While there is an official 30 sec time limit per string, we do not (normally) stop the shooter from finishing a given string.

I'm going to try and make this. As this will be my first time shooting at SCGC is there anything I need to know?

SCGC is a COLD RANGE on match day (see announcement)
If you have sufficient magazines to complete a 25 shot stage, bring them. If not, there will be people there who will help reload.
This tends to be a relaxed, low-key match.

I assume that hwy 50 from Bedford is a GO?

According to how I read what Gordon reported, 135 is closed between 50 and the club.

It looks as if you'll have to take to Hwy 58 in Bedford or take 446 north, off of 50, to pick up 58 to get to 135. Then south to the club.

If (a big IF) I get my my stuff together to make it from Btown, I'll take 446 to 58.

Note that 58 is curvy and slow.
