I am happy to announce (like officially this time) there will be a IDPA match at Riley CC.

$20.00 entry fee RO's shoot for free

Registration starts at 9 am Saturday Sept 23rd

    Shooters meeting at 10:45

    Match starts 11:00

6 stages 120 rounds (you shouldn't need that many but in case)

All Riley range rules apply. Riley is a COLD RANGE

IDPA rules apply but the biggest thing is come out and have FUN.

A special thanks to Steve Wright and Darin Chaney at Riley and WVPPS. Without their help this would not happen. So if anyone is free Sunday Sep 17 go and shoot an IPSC match at Riley and and say thanks. It will help support that club as well.

No carry optics. Stock Service any DAO/DA/SA or striker

Custom Defensive Pistol any 45 (primarily 1911's) but Glocks etc can shoot but no more than 8 rounds in the mag

Enhanced Service Pistol any SAO in 9,38, 40 etc

And Revolver (for noon clips has to be 40 Cal or bigger)

And of course a cover garment, shirt, vest etc

    IDPA - Rules

SA/DA, DAO and striker-fired are good to go in ESP as well.

There are also CCP and BUG divisions.

I contacted Everett the other day and offered my SO services for this match. I am looking forward to shooting this weekend. This will be the first time I have shot IDPA anywhere other than Wildcat or ACC. Can't wait to see this club and meet new shooter friends. -Jason

I probably won't make it this weekend to any matches. The knee is getting even worse, like past the point of being able to shoot with the cane in one hand. UGH.

Okay Rhino for nine and a half years you've averaged approximately 7 posts per day on INGO - you really need to get a life !!! :):

Interesting that it's the USPSA AC who's helping try to get this thing off the ground. :ingo:

I know your joking but, All IDPA vs USPSA aside for those on that kind of time. I have shot off and on with the folks at Riley for about 20 years. I can not thank Steve Wright and Chaney enough. When I approved Steve he was for it and sold it for me to the Riley CC so I was able to try this. They want this to succeed as much as many of us do. It will hopefully be another option for some.

I also have to thank several folks at the Wildcat Valley IDPA. They have answered my annoying e mails and are helping with being RO's to have a safe match and give me the guidance to get this started. So to Joe T and Mr Whiteside I can't thank you enough either.
