Most CMP matches and NRA matches use no slings for offhand, as this is a "primer"for high power, I am just using common rules......if I can pick up X's at 200 with out a sling, it isn't hard

Makes sense. Seriously considering it. Live in Indianapolis and only have access to Pistol Cartridge ranges, so it will be "use the match as practice" for me. Anyone in the Greater Indianapolis Area want to carpool?

    Here is your SR1 target 22x22 with a 6 3/8 bull

We will be doing a 200 yard 3p high power event,2 gun, bench rest and mini palma (rimfires at 100 yards)

After the match You are free to stick around and use our 200 & 300 yard ranges

We will have our heated club house open, flush toilets, and hot coffee /cold drinks.....I might try to have a hot lunch for you guys, but that will depend on what I find in our kitchen at the club.

This match is a really good (and slightly informal) interduction to high power shooting.....

    Any rifle.....hunting rifle....service rifle.....tactical rifle....

    Any sight......irons......scope.......apature sights......

As long as your rifle is safe to shoot and centerfire,it meets the rules as a match rifle

The extended forecast is looking real good with a temp of about 51 degrees, beats the heck out a few weeks ago, 23 degrees and snow.....

Now the only question is 22-250? Or service rifle?
