IIRC Jeff you were in squad #2, I was an SO on squad #3 along with Eric and Mark. I think all five squads finished up about the same time so all the staff on all the squads did a great job. Our squad was a good group with plenty of people pasting every time and the scorekeepers kept everyone informed on the shooting order and at the line ready to go. Good weather, good squad and good planning by Kyle, Mike and Joe. Jim.

So I assume you used the new short form classifier, how did it go. It seems considerably easier I wonder how it will compare.

Based on those times, good assumption ! Nobody shot Master, only 3 (out of 90) Expert. Not as easy as everyone might have been thinking.

How did the results from the 5x5 compare to the classifications everyone has from shooting the regular classifier match?

Did I stutter ? waaa2 Actually Rhino nobody shot Master or Expert time (even the guys who were already Experts), in last year's classifier match up there. 2 guys from ACC made Master on the 5x5 before Sat. It is about the same test as the old one IMO, just doesn't take all day. 4 draws, a reload and 25 shots in 20 sec. (Master time) is a pretty tough test. If you drop a few points you can drop back pretty fast.

I loved the 5X5 because I got it shot without wasting a whole match day on something I hate doing. Rules say I have to shoot once a year and I hate shooting a match of "drills." Another thing in rules is you do not go down in classification if you shoot a crappy classifier. So because of this I really care less about how well I shoot in the classifier. I have been SS in REV for many years so won't go down and at my age will never make MA, because of this it does not bother me I shot the 5X5 NV. I still had a great time with a great group of people and that is why I keep shooting. Jim.
