It can cost thousands. I’ve even seen it cost marriages. Because then you’ll get hooked, and want to buy guns and forklift loads of ammo and spend every waking hour on the range.

But no, we don’t actually charge anything to come watch. Just bring eye/ear protection.

Ps. I suggest bringing gun/gear because you’ll regret only being able to watch...

I wanted to thank Ryan and everyone else who put up with me as an observer today. I had a wonderful time! And I don't think we could have asked for a better weather day in March. It was awesome.

I really appreciated how everyone was so welcoming and did not mind me peppering them with questions. This is a good group of people to be around. I am pumped and looking forward to my gear showing up so I can actually shoot at the next match.

If I had 3 thumbs, they would all be up!

For those who are just thinking about trying out a competition, I say.....just DO IT. You don't have to be a Jerry Miculek type of shooter. Average guys (like me) are welcomed and can have safe fun too.

I have officially declared to my wife that all future gifts to me....

    Christmas
    Birthday
    Anniversary
    New Years
National Talk Like a Pirate Day
    etc.

All future gifts should be in ammo or money for ammo. I guess we will see how that goes. Because I like being married, it will most certainly NOT be going the other way. ;)

Glad you enjoyed it. Look forward to shooting with you.

my family is always complaining that all I ever want for holidays is some piece of reloading gear or a gun part, etc. they say I’m boring to buy presents for. Haha.

I did think of a question afterward. Did I hear correctly that practice is only on the 1st Thursday of the month this year? I want to make sure I have it on my calendar correctly.
