I really hate it when clubs turn down the brightness on screens so that batteries don't drain, & I really hate it when they turn off the colors for the same reason, & I hate it when batteries do drain & you have to screw around finding one or move to a different kindle & then screw around getting that one ready & adjusting to a new shooting order, & I hate worrying about whether or not somebody put the kindle asleep between stages.

Am thinking screw it, buy my own battery pack & put it in my range bag.

Anybody have experience with a particular pack that works well and doesn't cost more than necessary?

Any reason not to plan on carrying one & cranking up the screen brightness & contrast if that is what makes me happy happy?

    ****.
Wanted to use the new battery last Saturday and smugly demonstrate how cool and prepared for anything I was. Needed an iPad compatible cable.
    Best laid plans . . .
