Our upcoming match is Sat June 30 at Riley Conservation Club. We will be running a different format for this match only!! Please note the changes described below.
This will be a 60 round match, with no Novice or Master class. Each shooter will have 20 targets at each distance of 110, 165, and 200 yards. All targets at each distance will be engaged before changing distance. I plan on running a combination of knockdown and swinger targets. The Shoot-N-See backing behind the 200y targets worked well in the last match and we'll do that again.
Each shooter will fire 20 rounds at the same distance, time allowance will be 11 minutes. You can use multiple magazines, but a 5 round max per mag.
We will have 6 firing positions and a shotgun start. Be prepared to start at any distance!!
New to this match will be a different sighting in period. For this match, there will be no generic sight-in before shooting for score. INSTEAD, shooters will be given a timed 6 minute sight-in period immediately before firing for score. There will still be 6 shooters firing sighters, so this should allow the match to run a bit faster.
Since there is no sight in period, we will start shooting a bit earlier, shoot for score at 10:30 am. Lewis style payback as usual. Tear down immediately after shooting completes.
Setup will be Friday night at 5:30pm with practice to follow
Saturday June 30 Riley Conservation Club
Registration until 10:15, followed by shooters meeting. Shoot for score at 10:30am
Adults $15
Stand alone junior $10
Junior with paid adult- free
See you Saturday!!
