Outlaw Steel Match @ WVRPC July 29th

We are going to run a Steel Match instead of a ICORE Match @ WVRPC in Brookston July 29th. We have not had a steel match at our club this year. I also know there are other matches that weekend. This is for Handguns only. Jim

No Rifles,Carbines or Shotguns- Handguns Only
6 stages--- Best 4 of 5 runs
Strong side holsters Req'd for CFO/CFL
Low Ready start for RF & SCF
$5.00 Entry per gun/ 2 entries max

Division Winner: Each Division Winner will collect 1/5 of money collected!!!
There will be Certificates to hang for winners of each division.
I will be looking for sponsors for free give aways.

CFO: 9x19 min. Any sights or Mods, Semi Auto-Revolver.
CFL: 9x19 min. Iron Sights/ Post & Notch. Factory Ported,
no compensators,Semi Auto/ Revolver
RFO: 22lr, any sights or Mods- Semi Auto/Revolver
RFL: 22lr, Iron Sights/Post & Notch, Factory Ported,
No Compensators Semi Auto/Revolver
SCF: Sub Compacts 9x17 Min.
3.39" Max Barrel Length for Semi Auto,
2.25" Max Barrel Length for Revolvers.

There will be 3 stages a short recess and 3 stages set up.
You can shoot 1 of the 3 stages at anytime.
They will standard Steel stages.
We are giving all back to the shooters !!! We are not here to
Make any money, we just love to put on matches !!! HA Ha Ha !!!!

How many targets per stage? I just saw you stated: They will be standard Steel stages.
I assume that means 5 targets per stage, but I'm just checking. Thanks.

Forgive my ignorance, I've never shot in any sort of match before. Do I need to do anything to shoot in this other than register, show up, pay, and shoot? Also any other equipment other than pistol, holster, mags, eye/ear pro. needed? Thanks for any info in advance.

Holster for centerfire pistols. Rimfire pistols do not need holsters. Each stage is shot 5 times, so bring enough mags or speedloaders so you do not need to reload mags during the stage. Of course eye and ear protection.

As stated by the others but if you don’t have 5 mags or spedloaders for your gun we can find someone to help load a couple mags for you while you shoot. I had to have that at my first steel match.
