Wednesdays and Saturdays, the Glenn Park Izzak Walton (in Merrillville) lets non members shoot trap. I've been there occasionally. They have a nice facility and nice members.

I also shoot in Wheatfield at Oakwood (aka The Red Barn). They have limited hours, but we usually shoot skeet there on Wednesdays. Call first. On the weekends he usually has trap, skeet, and sporting clays available. Good luck.

What type of clay shooting were you wanting to do? Are you an experienced shotgun shooter or new to this game? Trap and skeet are fun, but I prefer skeet. Sporting clays is lots of fun, and gets you out walking in the woods most of the time.

Just skeet shooting is fine for me. Couldn’t find any ranges close to me and have been wondering how far I have to go.
