The December 19 Carry Gun Match will feature some different things. In many stages the whole target will count as an Alpha, which will emphasize speed. We will run some 18 rounds stages. Some stage will not have the required reload after 6 rounds. The seven stages will encourage folks to let the badger loose a little more than normal.

There have been a lot of questions about hosefest. No front sight needed. Just grip it and rip it fun.

I see there was a introductory class on 03 December to teach newbies about the rules of competition and provide a bit of learning prior to an actual event. That looks interesting. When is the next class?

Let the badger loose? I don't think I've ever heard that phrase before. I gotta try to make it to this one!

    That's funny right there
I'm pretty sure that I've signed up for this already.
I didn't ask any questions about it first.
    Did I do it wrong?:):

I worked up the stages today. Here are some particulars.

    7 stages as per normal.
107 rounds total if you shoot just the minimum.
There will be a 24 round stage (no mandatory reloads)
Three stages will be comstock in nature. (shoot all you want without penalty, except it costs time)
There will be a stage that requires SHO and WHO in the same string.
Distances will be short for most of the match.
The whole target will count as an Alpha.
One stage will allow for shooting on the move.

1 less available :D I'm still wondering about the badger.

Edit: thanks for the badger reference.

We are full. Bring your unleashed badger and prepare for some fun. First shot promptly at 6 pm if not before, with shooters meeting at 5:45.
    See you there.
