Steel Challenge Match at Riley Conservation Club, Sat Jan 5th, 2019 Noon

4 stages, 5 if necessary to reduce squad size. 4 of them will be from the 8 standards, the 5th would be the plate rack in bay 4.

Set up time will be 11 AM, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Sign up at 11:40 - 12:00
    Safety briefing 12:05
    Start 12:10

Cost is $10.00 for first gun and $5.00 for each additional gun. Children under the age of 18 shoot for free with a paying adult.

Never shot a match before, come on out, it's fun and there are plenty of folks that shoot this match that are willing to help you learn.
Very youth friendly match, there are divisions for .22 LR Pistol & Rifle. You will probably need at least 150 rounds of ammo to shoot this match, and it's best if you have at least 5 magazines for pistols (.22 Caliber) and if shooting .22 Rifle and you have 25 round magazines, then you will need at least 2 of those. Come out and have some fun.

    Hope to see you there.

I will be there plus my two offspring. I will take a squad if needed. If not needed I will have more time to run my mouth.

Bring a brand new shooter as well. I hope this crowd is not too big of a culture shock for this young suburban type.

Perhaps instead of the plate rack just use some of the static steel that is already out and designate a stop plate. It takes the plate rack malfunctions out of the mix.

    Agreed.

The match description reads like 4 stages unless there is a big turnout. Trying to decipher what I might be getting into and how much s**t to bring!
