The Rush County Conservation Club has changed their trap and skeet standard shooting day. They now shoot on Wednesday's instead of Tuesday.
They have been opening at 1pm for retirees to shoot on Wednesday ( i can't say this is always) but typically are open at least by 4pm until 7pm if people are shooting.
They also shoot the 2nd Sunday of the month from 1pm to 5pm.
It's only $5 a round.
Unfortunately this club doesn't have much of an online presence, but they welcome anyone and are very friendly and helpful people.
I believe if you approached them with other days, or group shoots they might be open to the idea if enough people were involved. I'm not a regular, but stop by occasionally and typically it's only the same 6 to 9 people, with no one getting younger. I believe they might be struggling to stay open.
Anyway if you live, travel, or know anyone interested please pass along.
I try to stop by as much as I can to keep the sport alive.
