Those stages were some of the most creative I've seen for a CG match. Screwing the left handers was the theme for one stage...however, I did get an advantage of kill the zombie, drag the casualty stage. I think time wise I won by .5 seconds...however I didn't execute the shooting.

Penalties were distributed pretty liberally today

I was even 'swoll' from leg day prior to the match.

Fun match as usual. I did get a chance to practice my slip and slide for the winter earlier than expected. At least I didn’t bust my a** or get DQed.

That's generally my job, but since I have not attended matches recently, you should pick up the slack in my absence!

We had great help yesterday on the devices and timer. It is appreciated. The stages were fun to shoot. The facility is great. What is needed is more of Carry Nation from West Central Indiana and the Wabash Valley to show up and shoot. This is not IDPA or USPSA or even USPSA with carry guns. It is not real world because no one is shooting back at you and that is not going to happen. There is a score and the timer adds stress to the shooting. Performing under stress is something that will have to be done in the event of a real world shooting. Our next match at Top Guns is going to be November 30.

The will be a two to three hour free training session at Top Guns On Saturday November 9th from 11 am to 1:30 or so. There will be a classroom portion and a live fire portion. The classroom session is open to anyone. The live fire is limited to people who have shot three matches or less. The rules, scoring and philosophy of the match and some gun-handling rules will be covered in the classroom session. The range session will be comprised of one course of fire.

The hope will be to get some new shooters to come and check out the match and see that it is not a big scary deal to shoot these matches.
