There will be no live fire for this class so ammo will not be needed or present in the room at the time of the class and an inspection will be done prior to entry into the class.

This class is NOT designed to teach you how to shoot or operate your weapon. That is left to Professional Trained instructors. If this is what you need I would be happy to refer you to plenty.

I expect this to last about 4 hours with breaks and questions but there is no time limit. So when we finish is when we finish.

If you have questions feel free to call or Email from below.

If anyone would like to assist with this feel free also.

Please help share and spread the word on this. It does not matter where they shoot the matches at. The Goal is to make New shooters more at ease and confident at their first match.

Having gone through the orientation yesterday with Larry, I can honestly say that I feel 100% more confident than I had previously about attending my first match.

Course structure was very well thought out and the roughly 3.5hrs was jam packed with useful information. I went into the class thinking I had learned most of what I could learn ahead of time on youtube videos, but I found out quickly that there was a lot more to it.

Online video's are kind of a 2 dimensional platform to get the basics on anything, but there's really nothing like sitting with an expert on the subject to answer any little questions that might pop into your head spontaneously as the conversation progresses...and on that note, questions were highly encouraged and Larry seemed to have an answer for everything that was asked.

Bring an unloaded firearm from the USPSA approved list (google it) if you can...and your carry belt and a basic holster to practice dry fire. Larry will run you through the basic commands to get you feeling more comfortable with the process and set you up for success to dry fire at home.

All in all, I was REALLY surprised at how much I learned and how much more confidence I gained getting answers to all the questions I had that weren't covered in any videos. Larry is clearly passionate about the sport and it comes through in the course work. I HIGHLY recommend this FREE (did I mention FREE) course if you're even thinking about getting into USPSA (or even IDPA).

    Thanks again Larry!

Thanks a bunch for the kind words. I appreciate you putting up with the issues with NO FRICKIN HEAT IN THE BUILDING but this is why they are leveling it today. I did not even realize just how cold I had gotten until I got home. I know you were cold as well. I enjoyed working with you and meeting you. I look forward to seeing you on the range.
