A groundhogs match uses paper ground hog targets with bullseye targets inside the silhouette

What is a groundhog match?

Targets are sihouettes of ground hogs with bulleyes inside the silhouetes. A hit inside the ground hogs scores a point. Hits inside the bullseye score based on the ring.

Rimfire 22 rifles. Several of the shooters from the Riley Long Range rimfire also shoot the ground hog match. Format rotates, this month is short range, next month will be long range, 110-200y.

Yes. Most will shoot from the bench, prone is an option or with bipod.
