    Saturday October 31, sign up 0800 to 0845, pits seal at 0855, first shot by 0900, weather permitting.

    Match fee is $15 for FWRR members, $17 for non-members.

    300 yards on the MR63 target, prone slow fire, two strings of 20 shots for record, unlimited sighters in 25 minutes for each string.

    Award Classes: iron sight, scope, F-class. If we get at least 5 service rifles, there will be a service rifle class.

    If you are a new shooter, identify yourself at sign up and I will pair you with an experienced competitor.

    I look forward to seeing you there for the last 300 yard match of the year.

    We were treated to a cold, blustery day. Gary Walker won it with his scoped 308 bolt gun with a 385-11X. I was first loser with 381-7X with my iron sight AR. Plenty of good shooters on the line whose butts were KICKED by that awful wind.

    Breakfast afterward at the Harlan Cafe topped off a great shootin day....

    1/2 minute right to 1 1/4 left. If only I could have kept up with it... I shot two 8's, the rest were 9's.

    I was shooting my 6mm AR with 105 Bergers.

    That 300 yard reduced target is tough. I've only had a chance to shoot it a couple of times at Wildcat.

    Depending on your hold, the half right probably didn't hurt you unless you broke a shot on that side. The 1 1/4 left is another story.
