What: SW101 Survival/Woodscraft Fundamentals

Where: Riley Conservation Club near Terre Haute

In this class we will explore the fundamentals of survival and self rescue in multiple environments. Discussion will center around the 5 C's of survival with particular focus on the first 72 hours. Practical studies will look at fire building, rope skills and a discussion of shelters. How to prepare and different level of survival kits will be discussed with some gear and kits on display for discussion. Students are encouraged to bring their current survival kits for discussion.
