    1. I'm sure this is answered in the reading but I'm at work and can't go through till I find it.
    2. Is it Ok to carry a gun (to sell/trade) and some spare ammo for it in the same bag? Or do you need a separate bag?
    3. I learned that you are supposed to keep the gun and ammo in a separate place in your car, and didn't know how to apply that to taking stuff into the gun show.
    4. I suppose they wink at it.
    5. I used to have a gun license in 1980, so I didn't think about it, but now that I don't; I don't want to have my ammo confiscated by police when I enter and they check your bag.

    Thanks!

If you are not licensed, you are subject to transportation rules, ammo and firearms need to be stored in separate containers while you are on your way there. The IC does not specifically speak to condition at a gun show, but all gun shows are "loaded gun, free zones"

I don't see anything in the IC cited that says ammo and gun have to be in separate containers during transport. The IC says unloaded. Is it interpreted that gun and ammo in same container equals loaded?

Yes, they can share a bag. Just make sure that the gun is not loaded.

    1. Thanks guys! I appreciate it.
    2. Bag in trunk with gun (in case) and supplies (holster, speed loader, etc, but ammo will be in passenger seat.
    3. When leaving car parked: put ammo in bag with gun, I'll even put it in a different section of my bag (with my beef jerky and tea, ha!)
