Shooter should have prior training or experience drawing from a holster. This is not a learn how to shoot class. This is a range session on improving shooting skills that pertain to EDC.

    Required gear:
Pistol (9mm or larger) BUG recommended
    ear, eye protection
    holster
    mag pouches
extra magazines (the more the better but at least three)
    snacks and fluids
    hat with a brim recommended
600 rounds of ammo (should be enough)

Not planning on a classroom session but questions are always welcome.

The drills are not fully planned at this point, but will include a review of grip, shot calling, snapping of eyes, SHO, WHO shooting. There will be movement and shooting on the move. There will be use of cover and concealment of different types and style. There will be figure 8 drills and multiple target engagement. There will be decision making drills, Marksmanship drills. There will be a couple of scenario shoots. If time allows moving targets.

We will shoot regardless of weather.

Planning on a lot of shooting and a focus on improvement for each shooter and the ability to get many reps in during the day. Hopefully not much standing around. This is also a great day of range time for those folks who have no place to practice skills that are essential.

    Sounds good.

This has not been a thing very long. But we have time.

Thanks for a safe day on the range. Hope it was valuable for everyone involved. Short sleeves on the range in November today. How awesome is that!

Another great class, Coach! Thank you for all of the challenging drills and thought provoking scenarios. And yes, short sleeves in November is awesome-even under my long sleeved shirt, coat and scarf :)
