I can’t imagine this lasting long. If I was close enough, I would stop by with the whole family and a bulk pack of .22

On my reloading bench I have a canister marked "phuck ups" with several bullets with up side down primers, no powder, glock smileys etc, etc. This may be a good way to dispose off then. Lol

Considering most cheap thugs do not have a full mag in the G**** 30 rounds is a stretch.

Correct. Years ago I was in an Indy gun shop and witnessed a "gentleman" come in with an empty magazine. He had been told the shop would fill it back up for him. He literally bought and paid for enough ammunition to fill that magazine. I doubt they used premium defense ammo.

I have seen this more than many would believe.

The winner was a "Gentlemen" and his female companion coming into the LGS and handing the owner a small semi auto. He asked for booolitz to fit that gun. He had zero idea what caliber it was, what the gun actually was or if it even worked. I started a conversation with him and it was fruitful. I learned he could not read the roll marks and was dumber than a sack of hair. His female companion was deeper in the rabbit hole than he was.
Turns out is was a 9mm Kurtz. Owner said they did not have ammo for it (:)) and he went on his way.

Shame I won't be able to make it with my FIL to get a good laugh....

Your tales are less surprising than I once believed. *Well done by the LGS Owner*

Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot and Gun Show 15 min. south of there
The Military Gun Show has drawn dealers from across the country to buy, sell and trade rifles, pistols, shotguns, and machine guns. They also will be selling ammo, military surplus, hard to find gun parts and much more. The gun show consists of over 900 tables and is set up in a large lighted pole barn adjacent to the firing line and Clubhouse. Security is on patrol at all times. Knob Creek cordially invites you to come and support the second amendment, “the right to keep and bear arms“.

There used to be a shop around Franklin rd and Pendleton Pike that sold individual rounds, they had boxes of bullets with about .35 cents a round priced on the display.

    D***, that's a good one!

No powder and upside down primers are fixable though.
I do have a pile of dubious examples from range pickup brass, sideways primers, or plop a new cheap lead bullet in bulged brass that'd be excellent candidates.
If only I weren't going to be out of town, I'll even discount the value of driving time to take advantage.
