Damn straight
We have an old set of metal salad tongs that my uncle,then my cousin used to skim the junk off of the lead pot.
I bet they're from the 70's

We use an old food dehydrator to dry wet tumbled brass.

Those look beautiful! What is your wet tumbling recipe? The Dawn + Lemishine? I try to get a very 'brassy' color but sometimes get a pale brass color. Well water vs. soft water?

Yep, plastic coffee cans here. Work great, easily stackable too.

And speaking of kitchen utensils, a cheap Dollar Store (or yard sale) colander works great as a media separator (with an equally cheap mixing bowl under it for the media to drain into).
