    Which heat sealers do you use? We are looking for a heat sealer for some Mylar bags, and not sure in which direction to go. Recommendations would be great!

    I use a hair straightener, one with a dial that way you can adjust the temp. 22$ our so at Wally world.

    Just went and looked at what I have. Cheap Revlon hair straightener. I think I paid 12 dollars for it a few years ago at Walmart. No temp control. Plug in its on, unplug to turn off. Looks real similar to this one.

    Ive heard about the iron and aluminum level too. And went out and bought an aluminum level that had a smooth face on it to try with my iron. But haven't bagged anything since that purchase, so cannot say one way or the other.
