    I was thinking about the Ka-Bar Kukri knife, actually, I'll probably get it as I already have a skinning knife (I keep it sharp and only use it for skinning) and a pocket knife for general cutting. Think I'm using 3 blades rather trying to find 1 all-purpose blade. I wouldn't want to be chopping wood with the knife I'll need to skin with, or using my skinning knife for anything else but skinning.

    I like my KaBar Becker BK2. I can do pretty much anything with it from batoning to carving. I have never tried really fine work with it though. As a back up to that and for small jobs, I always have 1 or 2 Mora's also.
