    Own it. Might burn it. Complete rubbish. Black and white, grainy photos and read a lot like Nessmuk's camping and woodcraft. Only Nessmuk could write. Not a lot of application if you aren't planning to actually live that way. Might even be useful as a last resource means for some day to day tasks, if you bothered to have the things it talks about and practiced using them. I'll give you some examples of what it has to offer when I get home if you're still interested.

    $145 on Amazon! That sounds more like a survival library not a survival book. And yeah, the reviews are really bad. $37 on the direct site is more in line for a hard cover but still...those reviews do not speak well of it.
