First, FIRST, 1st aid

1. Stop the Bleeding
2. Clear the Airway
3. Protect the Wound
4. Treat for Shock

1. Stop the Bleeding

• In the movies this is done by holding the victim in your arms and sayinh over and over again, stay with me, until he/she succumbs.
• At which time you shout, *** **** it, STAY WITH ME (many times with tears in your eyes. This is when the person miraculously revives and an ambulance arrives.
• A person can bleed out in less than 3 minutes so shout really loud.

2. Clear the Airway

• Brain damage may not occour for 5 minutes so keep shouting stay with me.
• Begin CPR by making five or six tentative trrusts and then giving up.
• Shout stay with me one last time.
