The network of tunnels was 20 feet deep and branched out 200 feet, WTOP reported, citing charging documents. They had been powered by a “daisy chain” of extension cords, which created the fire hazard.

Hmmm. I'm guessing not from hardware...unless he's a Samsung phone engineer.

So...besides being an idiot where elemental electrical safety is concerned he also doesn't understand the concept of a bunker. WTH would he be digging tunnels? If you're going underground for the duration you need a room with storage; and a privy as a minimum.

    Yeah, the fail is strong.

If you're really a millionaire and you want a bunker, you hire a contractor from a remote state who is 1) known to be discreet and, 2) is experienced as building bunkers and have them do it and then leave.

I can't decide whether this story, or the story about the guy who murdered a reporter on his private submarine and then sunk it is weirder. 2018 is a strange time.
