    Enjoyed watching the video clip. The gal doing the presentation was pretty easy on the eyes. She could make sugardine in my kitchen anytime. LOL

    She's got a bunch of prepping videos. She also knows her wild edible plants real well. And yes, she is very easy on the eyes.

    Good Post and will share with some like minded friends .......
    It makes sense about the sugar , That`s why you don`t have to cook Jellies and Jams very long while canning , as the sugar inhibits bacterial growth .

    Uh, not exactly the same thing. You still need jelly or jam (and the container) to be sterile when you can it.

    I was just stating that the cook time is very short .....Though I always sterilize my jars , you can use Hot, clean jars , but will increase cook time.
    We are only talking from approx. 5 minutes vs 10 minutes in cook times .
    Sugar helps form the jel and acts as a preservative .
