WOW,what a breath of truth and fresh air coming from the media! I wonder what effect reporting like this might have on criminals, and what the effect might be.I liked how the instructor referred to the criminal as "the predator". I vote that we get that phrase in common use as push-back against "my poor baby was a good boy getting his life turned around..."

Only gripe, the bad guys showed zero fear of the armed woman and she never mimed firing as they stared down each other's barrels. Would have been better to have the bad guys act like real invaders and not Army Rangers.

Have watched this a couple of times. Like another member mentioned, I can't believe they actually aired it. But this is part 1 of a 2 part series and part 2 is no where to be found. It was supposed to air the next evening and I never saw it. Wonder if the station took to much liberal heat to air it? Even if they did, kudos to them for having the choonies to actually air something that could actually save a life in a very bad situation. You'll never see this kind of "real news" on the big 3 or Ted's station. They fawn over lives lost in shootings, but NEVER mention the lives saved by respondsibly armed citizens. To many liberal advertisers would be offended.

I thought Fanchon was a gun owner based on previous comments she's made on air, but I didn't realize she was that enthusiastic and dedicated to firearms and self protection. She seemed really excited to be doing that report. I'm surprised Fox59 committed that much air time to the story, I could see them doing a brief 1-2 minute clip, but that was long segment. Good job Fox59.

I don't watch the news because generally it makes my blood boil. I actually get most of my news from here. I thought that piece was refreshing to see though. And the reporter is easy on the eyes too! Bonus!:rockwoot:

They left out my favorite non-gun home defense weapon. Wasp and hornet spray! A dose of that in the face will ruin your day and they usually have a range as much as 20'. Of course a gun is my favorite non-wasp spray weapon.

At the "gun buyback" in Crawfordsville in April, only FOX59 sent someone to cover it (I think he was a producer more than an on-air person, but I could be wrong). That report was pretty even and fair! I think there are a few people at that station who are not socialist-statists/cultural Marxists, and that is a good thing.

In my mind all I visualized was "bang bang...bang bang" as they entered the room, followed by an immediate check to see if more "bang bangs" were needed.

I haven't heard of the Native Executive Security outfit in Noblesville featured in the report. Are they newish to the area or have they been around for a while?

I was also unfamiliar. Their website doesn't have much information on their background with respect to firearms training.
