No! No! No! What I meant was Ham Ops who shoot as well not shoot Ham Ops. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you were into QRP ops and morse code. I purchased a Mountaintopper MTR-5B last year, amazing radio, and have a group of friends in the Indy area that enjoy getting together occasionally on Saturday mornings to operate QRP for a few hours. Just wondering if anyone out there might be interested in something like that. On another note, don't forget the Indiana QSO party will soon be here. Indiana QSO Party

best picture I could find of ham operators.
If you shoot them, they'll shoot back.

Watched some Tweety Birds get shot to pieces back in the CB days. Watched one get ripped out of a semi once too..

I been thinking about a general license just to have it. Pretests say I need to study up.

Used to tap out code all the time for fun, then lost that too..

I got my General license a couple years ago and just renewed my FCC license. This sounds like a fun way to spend a bunch of time I don’t have with twin three-year-olds.

Currently studying for the extra test.

My practice tests are improving, but I'm not passing yet.

Been using the resources over at hamstudy.org.

For those of you interested in learning code.
    You can learn here
    https://morse.withgoogle.com/learn/
With this tool o learned code pretty quick. Even used Morse code for typing letters on my phone for texting , email, etc but stopped bc the keyboard couldn't keep up with me.
