portable antenna mast

Finishing out my 2m/70cm go kit. Looking at mast alternatives for either my ladder line j pole or even a base antenna. I've seen pool poles, painter poles, milsurp mast sections and others.
What do the hams on InGo recommend?

How tall do you plan to raise it? A telescopic flag pole from Harbor Freight is a inexpensive portable option that will get you 20 feet.

I ran a 20' pole for my dipole. Worked ok. Heck, you can have mine. I'm not into HF anymore and its just laying around.

I went with the harbor freight flag pole and a bought a hitch that slids into my 2 inch receiver on my van to put the flag pole in.
