We can’t have birds where we live. For baking, what would you use in place of eggs? I know of powdered eggs, but aren’t those already cooked and you just bring them to “life”?

I am thinking of baking during a “situation”

most of our baking seems to want egg added

We own a bakery and believe it or not bananas and applesauce with baking powder can be used in place of eggs for baked goods in certain circumstances.

Sounds like the OPs situational baking needs are covered then, assuming he's allowed to have banana trees where he lives.

Well, I still have lots of research to do on eggs. But in asking the all mighty internet, I discovered that powdered eggs can be cooked with just like fresh. So off I went to get some of those. Could have waited to find a worse time, but now is when the bulk buying is starting.

Will do another thread about making own powdered eggs.
