    One thing that I think is often overlooked is disposable cups, plates, and silverware. You may have plenty of food, but if there is a potential water shortage, you don't want to waste your water washing dishes.

    This trip I picked up 50 pounds of rice, a 7-pound bag of mixed lentils and beans, They had mixed nut butter for 99 cents a jar with a best by date of 8/21. 6-pack of chick pea masala were on sale for 2.97. They had 18-packs of Kraft mac and cheese for 9.99
    I like how the soups and canned goods are packaged. It makes them easier to stack.
