Is there a Pre Req for the Dynamic Marksmanship Course?

Tom will chime in and correct me if I am wrong. Typically there wouldn't be a pre req of having taken a certain class. Be aware though, when Tom says fast paced, he means it. There is not a lot of time for chatting. IMHO must haves would be safety, ability to take direction well, and basic gun handling and marksmanship. Also not coming to class with junk equipment. (I am sure that doesn't apply to you, just throwing it out there for general consumption.)

I wanted to attend this year's SG class and life got in the way...
Add the Dynamic Marksmanship, and that makes for a full, fun, and educational weekend.

EDIT: Curious the range being used for hotel purposes, please?

Any hotel in Terre Haute is within 10 minutes of the range. There is a Holiday Inn Express at I-70 and SR 46 that is within four minutes of the range and within 10 minutes of the eating places of Terre Haute.

The Range is the Riley Conservation Club.

I am hoping that with this advance notice that people can plan ahead, save the date, arrange a kitchen pass, save some money for ammo and whatever else they need to do to attend this class. Tom Givens does a great job in speaking and teaching. His student success rate speaks for itself over the years. Everyone has plenty of time to plan and to make arrangements. Hope to see you on the range.

Powder, primers and bullets and ammo is on the shelf and look like they are going to be available. So the excuses for not getting signed up for these classes are slimmer than normal. Plenty of notice to block out and save the date.

Because you work every weekend. Or so it seems.:D

    Every other weekend.
The training gods have conspired against me for years. There was a 50/50 shot that I would have that weekend off.
I have a good job, I have been here a long time, I am blessed with a lot of vacation. October is a fine month for a vacation:cool:

    I am at work now

I just realized that the state match is in October. If I can use my vacation sparingly enough the rest of the year. I think I can take the whole damn month off.
    I would enjoy that.

I'm considering now whether or not I can physically tolerate a two-day class. If I decide in the affirmative, I will register and be there (and hopefully I will be correct on my decision).
