I might be interested in going, if I can get off of work. I am new to competitive shooting. How can I find out more information about this match?

I will explain the safety rules of the sport, the scoring system and divisions and classification. We will shoot four different courses of fire or stages during the evening and will score them like a match. The format is to explain what is going on with USPSA, show you, and then have you do it.

9mm gun, holster, belt, eye and ear pro, three magazines at least, mag pouches are best.
