This 2-hour course provides an introduction to using a knife for self-defense.

Topics include-types of knives and pros / cons of each, legal aspects of carrying and using a knife for personal protection, basic use-of-force, basic grips, deployment, cutting and thrusting drills, body positioning, and much more.

Learn to use your knife to save your life!

We will introduce participants to the new Aku-Strike Mimic LED training knives which provide visual and auditory feedback upon proper contact with the targets.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel it...

The previous one filled up but this one had low registrations. I assume it's because the weather is so much nicer.

We do have our full FAST Defense "Defensive Use of a Knife" course scheduled for August if you have interest. It's already a third full.

I know how that is. Too many things going on and not enough time for them all.

If you are interested in hosting a course I would be happy to bring it to you later in the year. We just need a date that will work for us, a location (preferably no cost or low cost), and local interest. Just something to think about.
