I should have said too hot to be comfortable. I prefer sunny and 60, but I'll take what I can get.

I hate to be like Rhino and be a word nazi but:

A monsoon is a seasonable wind. There are dry ones and wet ones. But it is a wind.

It had a strong resemblance to monsoons that I have seen on the discovery channel

I am not dedicated enough to go practice in whatever it was. Shoot a match maybe, but not practice.

    Carry gear

    Draws and slide lock reloads.

    USPSA gear

1-12 of R and R, all with movement. I don't think I mentioned it last time, but the draw to index weak hand while moving is challenging.

I got the whole Limited Gun routine in last night late after a track meet.

Nothing tonight but a little live fire as demo in a church security class. It does not really count for much. Open carry and close stuff.
Not going to get much if any work in tomorrow. Some private instruction and an event at Parabellum then an afternoon of baseball. Match on Sunday.

    USPSA gear.

    Surrender 6, reload 6
    6 Reload Strong
    6 Reload Weak
    Front Sight Forward.
    2 Reload 2
    Bill reload Bill
    Head shot sight picture.

Got to Lowes today and bought some PVC and elbow to make a couple of shooting boxes. If the weather ever breaks, I will get my outside dry practice range set up.

It is somewhat amazing to me after doing all of this work with a timer, how long .2 of a second can seem. When I go from a .6 draw up close to a .8 at 10 yards, it feels like forever longer. Weird. I have heard people say they "feel" like they are going fast. Without actually measuring it, you probably have no idea.

Should have done live fire this weekend but it was just absolutely miserable out. Glad we didn't have a match. Over 2 inches of rain and sleet along with high winds.

    Dryfire Saturday after work
all the starts and stops drills from Get to work.
    Riley Match Sunday
It wasn't quite the **** show of March, but I had one surprise miss, and not knowing always pisses me off. I really need to work on movement and stage planning visualization. I'm thinking my way through too much of the time.
The weather was great, it stopped raining just before first shot and it was not hot.
an observation after a long day on the range.
Being 40 pounds lighter makes the day a lot nicer.
I cant wait to see what 30 more will do for me.

You will be like me and always be cold. On the upside you will never get hot.

Been sick for three days. Not getting better. Not going to get any work in tonight. Spent 2 hours in private instruction with a lady I had for US History 21 years ago. She did a great job shooting. Very scared. I am helping the local Well Armed Women with draw stroke next then home to bed after some medicinal whiskey.
