    Hey everyone, I wanted to shed some "light" on an upcoming class;). We are humbled and honored to host such a great instructor in the industry: Chase Jenkins (Talon Defense). This course will be both, live fire and shoot house. Not too many opportunities like this. Here is the course description and link for registration:

    Course will focus on principals and fundamentals of employing white light in conjunction with the handgun. Both handheld and weapon mounted lighting techniques will be addressed and then meshed together to form a seamless system. Proper use of white light will be discussed, performed and reinforced through range preparation and force on force scenarios.
    Safe Tactics
    Light selection and proper switchology
    Using white light to gather real time information
    Handgun fundamentals and manipulations
    Principals of white light
    Implementing hand held lights in conjunction with the handgun
    Hand held lighting techniques
    Hand held lights and weapons manipulations
    Hand held lights, movement and angles.
    Structure movement
    Weapon mounted light techniques
    Weapon mounted lights and weapons manipulations
    Hand held lights and weapon mounted lights in conjunction with one another
    Force On Force
    Logistics:
    Handgun w/ minimum 3 magazines
    350 rounds ammunition
    Quality belt, holster and magazine pouches
    Quality hand held flash light
    Weapon mounted light (not mandatory but highly suggested)
    Spare batteries
    Eye protection ( clear lens )
    Ear protection ( amplified highly suggested )
    2 “chem lights” or similar form of identification
    There is a $30 range fee for MTAC and a $25 range fee for the outdoor live fire portion.
