I find this drill quite easy, almost boring actually. I just can't seem to miss. I guess I need to find something much harder to drill with.

Target is 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17"? Either way, neat drill. Especially if you add a time limit.

I print mine so it fits on a 4x8 piece of plywood. See photo below:

At what distance and time limit are you finding it quite easy?

If it's easy for you, then you are supposed to either increase the distance or decrease the par time or both. Would it still be easy at 50 yards under 5 minutes total time?

Ah, if that is the case, I absolutely did miss it.

Sorry.. my attempt at some subtle humor :>)...

This does look like a great drill. I now have a range where I can practice this, and will be going real slow at first. Does anyone know what size this target is? I am sure it is not 4x8.

    Thanks,

    Ron

They are 2" dots on 8.5x11" paper.

Each dot, or group of two dots, has an assignment.

    1. Draw and fire 5 shots.
    2. Draw and fire 1 shot (5x)
3, 4. Draw and fire one shot on 3 and one shot on 4. (4x)
    5. Draw and fire 5 shots SHO.
    6,7. Draw and fire 2 shots on 3 then 2 shots on 4 (4x).
    8. Fire 5 shots WHO.
9, 10. Starting with an empty mag snd one in the chamber, draw and fire one shot on 9, slide-lock reload and fire one shot on 10. (3x). [Note: Im not sure everyone starts empty mag or from the holster. That's just how I've been doing it.]

Should be 50 rounds of practice that includes SHO, WHO, drawing, transitions, multiples on the same target, and reloads. All the basics in a box of ammo.
