Revere's Riders will be offering it's "Whittemore Weekend" course over the weekend of July 14-15 at the A&A Optics range near Richmond, IN.
Our "Whittemore Weekend" event combines one day each of pistol and rifle instruction into a single weekend and is named in honor of Samuel Whittemore. Samuel was one of the patriots who took up arms on April 19th, 1775 and his story is quite amazing; those who attend the course will hear more about him over the weekend.
The event will be at the private range of A&A Optics near Richmond, IN. A&A Optics will also be giving away several thousand dollars worth of Vortex riflescopes and other gear; your chance to win something will be around 1 in 4. Alan hasn't chosen exactly what will be given away yet, but total value will be around $4-5k. If you win something, you will more than recoup your course fee!
This course is for those wanting basic instruction or a refresher in both pistol and rifle marksmanship. We also plan to run our "Morgan's Challenge" test at actual distance (250 yards); get your rifle sighted-in prior to the event and see if you can hit the "shingle" with a single cold-bore shot.
